Latest North Somerset Environment Company Industrial Action Updates (1)
More than 100 union members at North Somerset Environment Company have voted in favor of strike action. A majority of ninety-five percent voted to walk out over a pay deal that would pay them up to four pounds per hour less than other regional refuse collectors.
The union will meet with representatives to determine the dates for the strike. However, there is still an openness to further talks to secure a better pay increase and avoid industrial action.
