Workers at a Bridgend insulation firm have initiated a vote on strike action.

Over 100 employees at Rockwool Limited are participating in the ballot due to pay cuts and mandatory bank holiday work imposed by management.

The voting process is scheduled to conclude on March 2, 2026.

The collective bargaining unit expressed that the workforce is displeased with the changes implemented without prior consultation.

The union has requested that the company reverse its decision and engage in discussions to reach a settlement.
