An agreement was reached concerning the year's pay award.

Pay increases will be distributed in tranches to maintain fair pay gaps between different seniority levels.

Employees with full-time equivalent earnings up to and including £50,000 are set to receive a 3.7% increase, with a minimum boost of £1,500.

Those earning over £50,000 up to £90,000 will see a 3.7% increase on the initial £50,000, plus 2.9% on the remaining portion of their salary.

Staff with earnings exceeding £90,000 will receive a fixed increase of £3,010.

This compensation structure equates to a 3.7% rise on the first £50,000 and a 2.9% rise on earnings between £50,000 and £90,000, with no increase applied above £90,000.

Overall, the settlement results in an average pay increase of 3.5%.

Additionally, 88% of eligible employees will receive an increase of 3% or more.
