Scottish Government (PCS) Strike Calendar

PCS has launched a formal industrial action ballot for digital, data, and technology workers in the Scottish Government running from 21 October to 4 November.

The dispute follows a decision to replace the Digital, Data and Technology supplement with a new scheme, reducing eligibility so that approximately 71% of staff in the profession will no longer receive the payment. For affected staff, the loss represents a salary reduction of up to £5,000 per year.

In a prior consultative ballot, 99% of voting members supported retaining the supplement and 95% indicated a willingness to take strike action.
