Bidvest Nanoon (RMT) Strike Calendar

Outsourced cleaners and catering workers at TransPennine Express are scheduled to stage a 48-hour strike over low pay. The strike action involves workers from the companies Rail Gourmet and Bidvest Noonan. This dispute has escalated because no pay offer has been made despite the contract's review date passing in April.

The rail union has called for the government to step in and end the outsourcing of these roles by bringing the services in-house. Picket lines are planned for Friday and Saturday at various train stations. Affected locations include stations in Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Carlisle, and Middlesbrough.
