Churchill Services (RMT) Strike Calendar

Cleaners employed by an outsourcing firm on Merseyrail plan to stage a 24-hour strike from August 7 to August 8 due to low pay. Despite attempts to negotiate, the employer has refused to present an acceptable offer, prompting the strike action.

The union maintains that the company can afford a better pay offer given its substantial post-tax profits and dividend distributions. While the union remains open to further talks, it has warned of escalating the campaign if the employer does not engage.
