Latest Age UK Industrial Action Updates (1)
Around 200 Age UK call centre and office staff are being balloted for strike action over pay. The dispute follows an imposed pay rise of two per cent amid cost-of-living pressures and declining real-terms wages. Affected staff are based across London, Blackpool, Newton Abbot and Warrington, working on services including the Advice Line and Silver Line. The ballot opens on 14 October 2026 and closes on 18 November 2026.
