Latest Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust Industrial Action Updates (1)
Workers in the blood sciences department at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust are taking additional strike action across November due to unresolved holiday pay irregularities, including unpaid overtime and absence pay.
Industrial action is scheduled to take place on 2-6, 9-13, 16-20 and 23-27 November.
The union stated that the trust has spent over £1 million on outsourcing to cover the work during strikes rather than settling the dispute.
The affected staff work at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital and Burnley General Teaching Hospital, but are employed and contracted by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
