A 10-day continuous strike by Unite members at Lockwood Haulage Ltd in Knottingley and South Kirby, West Yorkshire, has concluded after workers secured an improved pay offer.
Around 40 forklift truck drivers and machine operators in the glass division walked out after previously rejecting a 1 per cent pay increase. They have returned to work following an agreement on a 2.5 per cent pay rise backdated to 1 March 2025, alongside the scrapping of a proposed attendance-linked bonus scheme.
Unite members working for Lockwood Haulage Ltd in Knottingley and South Kirby, West Yorkshire, are set to begin an all-out strike from 2 September 2026.

The workers, who previously transferred from GXO under TUPE regulations in March 2025, have not received a pay increase since October 2023.
