National Education Union (UNITE) Strike Calendar

Staff in the London region of the National Education Union (NEU) are taking strike action this week. Over 20 Unite members feel they have been left with little choice to take industrial action over bullying allegations. Last year the general secretary and senior leadership of the NEU agreed that there should be an external investigation into staff concerns about management bullying. That investigation was carried out in the opening months of 2026 and the investigation report was sent to the senior leadership team in April. Before the investigation began terms of reference were agreed which included a promise that the report would be shared with Unite. However, almost six weeks after receiving the investigation report, it still hasn’t been shared with Unite.
