Latest SPS Technologies Ltd Industrial Action Updates (1)

Around 200 Unite members at Leicester-based aerospace manufacturer SPS Technologies Ltd are set to take continuous strike action over pay.

Workers rejected a two-year pay offer of four per cent for this year and four per cent next year, arguing it fails to address past low pay. The dispute also follows proposed changes to working conditions, including the removal of emergency holidays and alterations to the absence policy for staff working nine-day fortnights.

The indefinite strike action begins from 4 September and is expected to impact parts production for clients, including Airbus.
