Stagecoach North West (UNITE) Strike Calendar

Over 350 bus drivers working for Stagecoach North West across Cumbria are being balloted for industrial action following the rejection of a pay offer. The union states that Cumbria drivers earn £15.20 per hour, which is lower than rates paid at other depots across the North West. The ballot opens on 15 September and concludes on 29 September.

The workers are based at depots in Barrow-in-Furness, Carlisle, Kendal, and Workington. In addition to local public bus routes, Stagecoach operates services for BAE Systems in Barrow-in-Furness and the Sellafield nuclear site near Seascale.
