Approximately 120 workers employed by TechnipFMC in Dunfermline have accepted an enhanced pay offer following the threat of strike action.
A seven-day strike was suspended after the company tabled a last-minute offer. The agreed deal delivers a three per cent pay increase, a one-off £700 payment, and an extra day of holiday this year.
Unite has suspended seven days of planned strike action by approximately 120 workers at TechnipFMC in Dunfermline.
The strike was scheduled to take place from 14 to 21 September, but has been put on hold to allow union members to vote on an enhanced pay offer.
Approximately 120 workers employed by TechnipFMC in Dunfermline are set to take strike action following the rejection of a below-inflation pay offer. In a strike ballot, union members voted by 92.75 per cent in favour of industrial action.
The strike is scheduled to start on 14 September and conclude on 21 September, alongside a continuous overtime ban beginning at the start of the strike action.
